A Message from the Headteacher
Welcome to the Dereham Church Infant School and Nursery website.
We are an infant and nursery school catering for children aged 3-7 years old. Our school is located in the centre of the town of Dereham.
Dereham Church Infant School and Nursery believes in supporting each individual child to achieve as highly as they can in whatever they do. Our friendly, dedicated and professional staff and governors work extremely hard to provide a safe, caring and stimulating learning environment in which our children happily learn.
Through a rich and stimulating curriculum we encourage each child to become:
- successful learners who enjoy learning, make progress and achieve
- confident individuals who are able to live safe, healthy and fulfilling lives
- responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to society
Our most recent Ofsted Inspection (March 2009) judged our school as
Good in all respects. The National Society Statutory Inspection of Anglican Schools Report (May 2009) judged our school to be an
Outstanding Church school.
We promote an 'open door' policy and strongly encourage mums, dads and carers to take an active role in our school.
