Our ‘Bitesize Improvement Focus’ for Spring 1 2018 is Writing.
Our aim was to improve children’s use of vocabulary within their writing.
We used dictionaries in Nursery, Reception and Year 1 and thesauruses in Year 2.
Each week we celebrated our new vocabulary in a special assembly. Pupils were awarded a dictionary to take home to help further improve their writing.
We held workshops for parents /carers.
