Our ‘Bitesize Improvement Focus’ for Autumn term 1 2017 is Maths.
Our aim is to further improve our school’s attainment, particularly in the area of shape, space and measure in Reception.
We have decided to boost our maths skills through daily Maths Meetings.
What are Maths Meetings?
- They are short daily sessions of Maths that involve lots of recall
- They cover a variety of areas of the maths curriculum more frequently
- They involve singing and chanting
- They are interactive
- They meet the needs of all abilities
