RE week
During RE week for Autumn 1, year 2 children explored the question ‘Why is light an important symbol to Christians, Jews and Hindus?’ The children learnt key stories from each religion that explores the idea of light. They responded to the importance of light for each religion by making their own Christingle for Christianity, making a menorah for Judaism, creating rangoli and diya lamps for Hinduism.
